What is the BFRC Authorised Retailer Scheme?

When investing in any product or service, you want to be confident that you are going to be receiving the very best, which is where industry accreditations and registrations come in. These have been set up to recognise those companies that are meeting the very highest standards put in place by the industry regulators, and one such registration in the window industry is the BFRC Authorised Retailer Scheme.

At Shaws Bespoke Joinery, we are immensely proud to have all the window work we carry out registered with the BRFC Authorised Retailer Scheme as it means you can have complete confidence in our ability to conduct ourselves professionally at all times and provide end results that are of the highest standards.

This particular scheme relates to the energy ratings of the windows and was set up to show that companies are complying with specified Building Regulations when it comes to the energy rating of the windows that are being installed.

In a climate where every homeowner is attempting to become more energy efficient in order to protect the environment and save as much money as possible on those seemingly ever rising energy bills, this scheme ensures that you are receiving the windows with the energy rating they are supposed to have as opposed to windows with an energy rating that the installer says is better than it actually is.

As we are registered with this scheme, we can adorn all of our products with the BFRC label to show that they are registered products, which in turn assures you that our products have met the necessary energy efficiency standards and we are adhering to the guidelines in place.

If you have any queries regarding this registration or wish to discuss a project you would like us to complete at your home, don’t hesitate to contact a friendly and knowledge member of our team who are waiting to hear from you today.
